How Will You Know When You Get “there”… if you don’t know where “there” is?

Thoughts from Sandye Linnetz, Systems Goddess, Process Prodigy

Ya simply gotta have a plan. Sorry, that's the way it is. You know how the experts tell you that you should never go to the super market without a list? There's a reason for that. Without a list you will most likely either buy a bunch of stuff you don't need or forget some of the things you do need.

It works pretty much the same way with your business. Plan before you go... Before you attend a seminar, go into any meeting or mixer; create an agenda. What do you want to get out of it? What is your objective? Ask yourself what the best case scenario would be and what you want to achieve by being wherever you are. What will it take to walk away feeling successful?

Do you go to networking meetings for the free coffee or to grow your business? Do you meet with potential clients to make new friends or to grow your business? And what about seminars? Are you looking for entertainment or to come away with two or three new ideas that will either solve a current problem or, dare I say it, GROW YOUR BUSINESS?

How will you know if that meeting, seminar or mixer was a success; unless you are clear about what you wanted to get out of it? And here's the zinger, folks... when you go with a clear intention, results happen. Knowing what you want to get out of any experience will go a long way toward getting you there. You can get "there" because you prepare - mentally and, if you're serious about your success, physically. You'll look and feel your best and have everything you need readily available.

So, what's your "there"? Are you shooting to get new clients? Looking to build your data base? Collect business cards? Increase your worth in the market place?Whatever purpose you have in mind, focusing on it, will move you in the right direction... move you to action. With a clear result in mind you will figure out how to get there. And then, my friends, everyone will know you're "there"!

Able to Reconnect to Important Relationships By Putting Systems in Place

I have had probably THE best Summer ever, and I owe a lot of that to having systems and a project manager so that things ran smoothly and clients felt completely taken care of while I was away. I truly disconnected and was able to reconnect really important relationships that had suffered lately!

  • "I was a bit skeptical at first, but now, after completing one of Beth Schneider's Million Dollar Marketing all-day workshops, all I can say is WOW! Beth gives a great clear and professional presentation that is interesting, entertaining and really engages everyone. She is one of those rare individuals that is terrific at both doing it AND explaining it. She had great handouts, and also allowed us ample time to put the info into practice."

  • "Working with Beth Schneider has been phenomenal. When I met Beth, I was setting my own appointments and doing my own data entry. I was doing grunt work and I had no time to work on the growth strategies for my business. Beth helped me set up systems and an amazing team and my sales figures rose dramatically."
